We collect the account details you provide (name, email, password), the resume and cover-letter content you create, job applications you track, and basic usage and device data (such as log data and cookies) needed to operate and improve the service. When you import an existing CV, the file is parsed in your browser and is not uploaded to our servers.

To provide and secure the service, save and render your resumes, process optional payments, respond to support requests, and — where permitted — show advertising that helps keep the core product free.

We use cookies for essential functionality and, with your consent, for advertising. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this and other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to CV-Craftor and/or other sites. We load advertising scripts only after you accept cookies via our consent banner.

You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies at aboutads.info/choices. For users in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland, ad consent is managed through a certified consent management platform.

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us run CV-Craftor (e.g., hosting, payments via Stripe, advertising via Google) and as required by law. Resumes you choose to share via a public link are accessible to anyone who has that link.

Depending on your location (including under GDPR and India’s DPDP Act and CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, and we use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect it. Passwords are stored hashed.

CV-Craftor is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
